Teatime Adventures: Tea Pets

Hello everyone! Popping in for a quick Teatime Adventures: Tea Pets update! We have some exciting news to share with you...two new Tea Pets are ready to make their way into the game! Meet the Tiger Lily and Fluff Bear!

The elusive Tiger Lily should not be hard to spot, given its bright orange and black coloring, yet somehow they seem to avoid detection in most backyards. Like Dandy Lions, they prefer to live solitary lives and have even been known to chase the more extroverted and comparably sized Dandy Lions out of their territory completely.

The humble Fluff Bear has a striking resemblance to the lily known as bear grass. Coincidentally, this is where it can most often be found. Fluff Bears measure only a few inches wide and enjoy spending their days climbing up stalks, nosing through pollen, and slumbering away in the sun.

Hello everyone, we hope you are staying cozy in what has so far been a very chilly winter! We have the fireplace going and are warming our hands on hot cups of tea. We also have some exciting news to share… A first round of surveys are headed your way!

Initial Backer Surveys will come via Backerkit to the email you used to back the campaign. If you don't see your survey, be sure to check your spam folder before reaching out to us at [email protected] as some emails are shy and like to hide. 

Once you get your survey you will be able to check out add-ons and add your shipping information. Shipping fees will be charged at a later date closer to fulfillment in a second round of surveys. If you live in the Cleveland area, we are providing a local pickup option, please select local pickup on the dropdown Country menu at the start of your survey. Local  Pickup will be available at Superscript Comics & Games in Lakewood, Ohio at the time of fulfillment. Please note that we will not be fulfilling orders at conventions.

If you subscribed to Cozy Companion through the Tea Pets campaign, we will get you codes to redeem your subscriptions after you fill out your survey!

Work on the game is going well! We have been very busy having deep conversations about the Astra alignment of each Tea Pet. The Core Rulebook is in final layout and the Tea Pets book is going through a round of testing! I can’t wait to build my sanctuary.

My tea is quickly cooling, so I better drink it up! I’ll be popping by again soon with more updates. You can also join us on our Discord to chat with the team and other Snowbright fans.

Hello everyone! We wanted to pop in and give all of you an update on a few things before we all head out for our holiday break. So here we go!

Backer surveys are drafted and will be going out to everyone in January. We will not be charging shipping at this time, but you will be able to confirm your order or select and pay for your add-ons. We will run a separate charge closer to fulfillment for shipping fees. If you added Cozy Companion to your order, completing your survey will mean that we can get your subscription set up. All Tea Pets backers who subscribed to Cozy Companion will get the Holiday Magic (December) volume as your first issue! You will also be getting the December Holiday Spells subscriber perk. 

WE HAVE THE DICE! The prototype of the Harmony Dice set has arrived from the manufacturer, and we wanted to share a pic! 

Next steps…we are hard at work getting the four Teatime Adventures books ready for manufacturing, the new maps are well underway, the plush is getting some small adjustments, and we are planning to be on time for fulfillment! When we come back from break, it will be all hands on deck as we get all items ready to move to manufacturing.

The team is getting ready to go on our holiday break, so if you need to get in touch with us, please keep in mind that we will be out of the office until January 2.

Hello everyone and happy spooky month to you all!

Popping in for a quick update, because we have a few cool things to share with you. First off… we got in the prototype of the Rose Possum plushie! It is soft, cuddly, and a huge hit with the Snowbright kids. We have gathered some feedback and the next version is underway! I’ve included the diagram we used when designing the prototype. We are pretty impressed with how close the first edition looks! If you want to see it in person, stop by our booth #3530 at PAX Unplugged next month!

And in even more exciting news… the fan Discord that you voted for is up and ready for you all to join! Thank you for your feedback and suggestions on what you wanted to see in our server. We can’t wait to continue the conversation over there!

Woooooooo! We did it! 

Teatime Adventures: Tea Pets is a wrap! That’s 14 stretch goals unlocked and over 1600% funded as we now begin bringing these tea pets to life!

We just wanted to take a second to say thank you. Not only have you all made this campaign a success, but you have also made it a joy to run. From your comments and social posts to poll participation, we have had a great time with you all in this cozy adventure.

So what's next?

Well, we are wrangling all the tea pets into their habitats for a wee break and brewing up some celebratory tea before we get to work on… that fan Discord server you voted for! Expect an update with a link to join in the near future, as well as more information on when to expect your backer survey. These will open early to allow Cozy Companion backers to get their subscriptions started this year! After that update, we will give your inbox a bit of a break, popping in every month or two to give you updates on progress, share pics, or let you know about a new poll that’s up. We’re also always available at [email protected]
